Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa received the PhD degree from The University of Tokyo, Japan in 4/2014, and worked at Department of Automatic Control, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology until 1/2015. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toyota Technological Institute in Nagoya, Japan until 12/2016. After that, he was an Assistant Professor at International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I2CNER), and Institute of Mathematics for Industry (IMI), Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan until 12/2021. He was then promoted to be a Tenured Associate Professor at the same two institutes at Kyushu University. Since October 2025, he returned to work at Department of Automation Engineering, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Dr. Hoa is an IEEE Senior Member since 2022. Currently, he is also a Visiting Associate Professor at International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I2CNER), Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan.
