Office 628, C7-E Building. Mr. Hoang Si Hong received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in sensors and measurement, from the University of Ulsan, South Korea, in 2010. He is currently supervising 10 Ph.D. candidates, four of whom have successfully defended their doctoral dissertations, as well as numerous master’s students specializing in sensor and measurement engineering within the field of Control and Automation Engineering. He has completed three research projects funded by the National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) as principal investigator, and has also served as principal investigator of numerous other projects funded by ministries, industry (including EVN), and institutional sources. He has published 25 scientific papers in WoS-indexed Q1 journals, along with numerous other journal articles and conference papers both domestically and internationally. His main research interests include sensors, particularly surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensors and semiconductor gas sensors, as well as advanced measurement, diagnostic, and prognostic techniques for energy systems, electrical equipment, and semiconductor devices.
