Hung Vu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam. He received the PhD's degree from the Department of Electrical Sustainable Energy, Faculty of Mathematics, Science Computer and Electrical Engineering, Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands in 2012.He worked as leading engineer for design of electrical machines and controls in renewable energy at Darwind BV, The Netherlands and Setec electronics&wind power GmbH, Germany, 2012-2020.Currently, Dr. Vu is a lecturer at department of electrical engineering, school of electrical and electronic engineering, Hanoi university of science and technology. He is also a member of High performance of electrical machines laboratory (HiPEMs Lab). His current research interests include finite element method, thermal modeling, design optimization of electrical machines, electric drives, power electronics converters, and energy conversions in renewable energy and industry.
