Pham Van Long
Dr. Pham Van Long received his Doctor of Engineering (Dr.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Japan in 2020. His research focuses on hardware design and software control of power converters, including DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters, and AC-DC rectifiers, across various applications, including motor drives, electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and renewable energy conversion systems. Notably, the design and development of switching techniques represent a key area of his recent research. Dr. Long is also investigating energy management systems for EV batteries and energy storage systems. His research group currently comprises one PhD candidate, four Master's/Engineer-level researchers, and over twenty undergraduate students.
