Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duc-Minh Nguyen received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, specializing in digital integrated-circuit design and verification, from TU Kaiserslautern, Germany. He is Vice-Dean of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE), Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Head of the EDABK Research Group. His research focuses on the design and verification of embedded systems-on-chip (SoCs) for signal-processing and artificial-intelligence applications, as well as on hardware accelerators for signal processing and AI. He teaches Computer Architecture, Digital System and IC Design and Synthesis, and Digital IC Design Verification. He has published more than 70 scientific papers, holds an H-index of 16, and was appointed Associate Professor in 2015.
Design and verification of embedded systems-on-chip based on the RISC-V platform. Design of signal-processing accelerators and AI accelerators for biomedical and Vietnamese-language data. NPU computing architectures such as Spiking Neural Networks, GEMM, Systolic Arrays, and Neuromorphic Computing.
