Nguyen Kien Trung was born in
Hanoi, Vietnam. He received the B.E. and M.Sc. degrees in control and
automation from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam in 2008 and
2011, respectively. In 2016, he received the Ph.D. degree in Functional control
systems at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan, where he worked as a
postdoctoral researcher in 2016-2017. In 2008, he joined the Department of
Industrial automation, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. From 2023,
he was an associate professor in the field of Control and Automation.
Research Interests
Power electronic, Wireless power transfer, battery charger/management system, Battery energy storage systems (BESS), cold plasma/X-ray power supply, 400 Hz power supply
