I
received a B.E. (2000) and M.S. (2003) degrees in Electronics and
Telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam, a
Ph.D. degree (2009) in Computer Science at Shibaura Institute of Technology,
Japan. I was a postdoctoral fellow at Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan.
Currently, I am an associate professor at School of Electronics and
Telecommunications, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi, Vietnam.
My interests include Mobile Communications, Wireless Networks, Mobile Ad-hoc
and Wireless Sensor Network, Future Networking, Internet of Things (IoT),
Internet of Everything (IoE), Next Generation Network Equipment and Intelligent
Services, and Network Security. I am responsible for managing SANSLAB, a Smart
Applications & Network System Laboratory. I received the IEEE Section Prize
Student Award in 2008, the Osamu Omoto International Students Scholarship for
outstanding student, 2009, and the English Session Award for an excellent paper
of ICM committee at IEICE General and Society conferences, 2011. I am a member
of IEEE and IEICE.
Research Interests
· Wireless Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks: Energy-efficient routing protocol for wireless sensor networks,
Routing protocol for WSN in challenge conditions, Multiple targets tracking in wireless
sensor networks, Sensing coverage problem and energy hole in wireless sensor networks,
Wireless sensor network for underwater/ underground, Network coding for wireless
sensor network.· Future Networking:
Energy-aware networks; Network security: Traffic modelling abnormality detection
based on traffic pattern, Security for industrial communication systems.· Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE): Deployment of Internet of Things in the context of Future
Internet for a variety of applications, including: (1) inter-connection of
different wireless networks of smart devices (wireless sensor and actuator
networks, vehicular networks, M2M communication networks, Wi-Fi-based devices,
cyber physical system) to produce the real-world data; (2) development of
services and service platforms for IoT; (3) development of test-bed and
experiment platforms in both network and application layer; (4) development of
complete systems for environmental monitoring, emergency communication,
tracking applications; (5) development of IoT/IoE systems towards providing
smart applications and services; (6) design and manufacture cross-platform
IoT/IoE devices that connect and support intelligent data processing models.· Mobile Network Applications: Smart-Tour, eTour, Surveillance and Management System, Android
Applications, Indoor positioning system for mobile applications.
· Network Security: Solutions and services to ensure network security and information
safety in IoT/IoE.
